Stormlight Abalone Earrings

Dark freshwater pearls give way to long, slender flashes of abalone in the Stormlight Abalone Earrings, a pair inspired by the shifting color of light across moving water.

Each charcoal grey freshwater pearl is individually hand-wrapped in solid sterling silver beneath a polished sterling silver ball post. From there, elongated abalone drops fall in clean, elegant lines, their natural nacre flashing through greens, blues, violets, rose and bronze as the earrings move. The restrained silhouette lets the extraordinary surface of the shell do most of the talking, while the dark pearls echo its deeper, stormier tones.

At approximately four inches long, these are unapologetically dramatic earrings, but their narrow profile keeps them graceful rather than heavy. Every turn reveals a slightly different palette, making them feel almost kinetic in the light.
