Moonlit Thread Necklace

A delicate strand of faceted moonstone and warm gold, designed to shift, shimmer, and layer.

There are some stones that reveal themselves all at once. Moonstone is not one of them.

The Moonlit Thread Necklace is strung with petite, faceted natural moonstone beads, each softly translucent until the light catches a facet just so and a flash of cool blue appears. Rather than forming a continuous white strand, the individual stones flicker subtly as the necklace moves.

Small faceted gold-tone beads are scattered throughout the moonstone, adding warm points of light before the stones transition into a delicate gold-plated brass oval chain. The contrast keeps the necklace airy and lets the moonstone remain the focus.

Designed with layering in mind, Moonlit Thread measures approximately 20 inches at its full length, but the oval-link chain offers something particularly useful: the lobster clasp can be fastened into any link along the chain, allowing the necklace to be shortened to suit different necklines, pendants, or other necklaces.

It is delicate enough to disappear quietly into a layered collection, but beautiful enough to wear alone.

There is something I particularly love about moonstone at this scale. You have to look a little closer to see what it is doing.

And then one of those tiny stones catches blue.
