I set the amber cabochon by hand in a solid sterling silver crown gallery bezel. The open, scalloped architecture traces the stone with a delicate rhythm of silver while leaving its color and internal character beautifully visible. In changing light, the amber shifts from a darker russet warmth to flashes of brilliant golden orange.
Suspended from an 18-inch sterling silver chain, Emberlight is understated in scale but rich in presence, a tiny ember held in cool silver.
