Designed as the longer sister to Daughters of Amarna I, this approximately 25-inch necklace draws from the paired necklaces worn by two young princesses seated at the feet of their mother, Nefertiti, in the Princess Stela from Tell el-Amarna.
Luminous carnelian ovals form the dominant rhythm of the strand, their warm orange-red color glowing against compact sections of deep blue lapis lazuli. Small 14kt gold-filled beads punctuate the pattern with flashes of gold, echoing the rich triad of red, blue, and gold so closely associated with ancient Egyptian adornment.
The larger scale of the 10–12mm carnelian beads gives Daughters of Amarna II a stronger visual presence than its shorter companion, while the 25-inch length allows the necklace to fall in a graceful, elongated line. The alternating pattern feels both ceremonial and remarkably modern, with enough repetition to suggest its ancient inspiration without becoming a literal reproduction.
Together, the two necklaces form a quiet dialogue: related in color, rhythm, and source, but distinct in scale and proportion, much like the sisters who inspired them.
