Coral Cove Bracelet

Somewhere between the reef and the shore, the sea keeps its brightest treasures.

Coral Cove is a richly textured bracelet built around vivid red bamboo coral, its wonderfully irregular slices bringing the organic shapes and saturated color of the sea to the wrist. Polished 18kt gold-filled beads punctuate the coral with flashes of warm gold, creating a bold contrast that feels sunlit, joyful, and just a little extravagant.

At the center, a small gathering of ocean treasures moves freely along the gold-filled beads: an 18kt gold-plated brass starfish, a spiral shell accented in gold, a sparkling 14kt gold-plated cubic zirconia dolphin, and a luminous baroque coin pearl. The pearl is individually hand-wrapped in 14kt gold-filled wire and finished with a tiny cubic zirconia drop that catches the light beneath it.

Rather than fixing the charms rigidly in place, I designed them to slide and move freely along the central gold-filled beads. As the bracelet moves on the wrist, the charms shift, overlap, separate, and flash against one another, making the composition subtly different from moment to moment. There is something wonderfully beachcombed about it, like a handful of small treasures gathered together after a day beside the water.

A 24kt gold-plated magnetic clasp makes the bracelet especially easy to put on and remove, while an 18kt gold-plated brass clover chain adds both adjustability and another delicate decorative detail at the back.

At approximately 8 inches long, Coral Cove is bright, tactile, and full of movement: coral red, pearl iridescence, polished gold, and a tiny constellation of creatures and treasures from the sea.
