While the galleries throughout the Museum Guide explore the stories that inspire my work, the Artisan Workshop is where those stories begin to take shape. Here you'll step behind the scenes to see not only how jewelry is made, but how an idea slowly becomes something you can hold in your hand.
Every finished piece starts with a question.
Sometimes it's sparked by an ancient civilization. Sometimes by an unusual gemstone or a wildflower growing beside a trail. Other times it's simply a moment of curiosity that refuses to let go until I've learned a little more.
The creative process is rarely a straight line.
It involves sketches that never become jewelry. Experiments that don't quite work. New techniques learned through patient practice. Unexpected discoveries that send me back to the books instead of the workbench. Every success is built upon countless small moments of learning, refining, and beginning again.
In this workshop, I'll share those moments with you.
We'll explore traditional metalsmithing techniques, gemstone selection, toolmaking, design decisions, studio experiments, material discoveries, and the many lessons that only reveal themselves through making something with your own hands.
Perhaps most importantly, this is a place to celebrate craftsmanship itself.
In a world that often values speed, handmade work reminds us that some things simply cannot be rushed. Every hammer strike, every wrapped wire, every polished surface carries the quiet imprint of the hands that created it.

Artist's Reflection
People sometimes ask how I learned to make jewelry.
The honest answer is that I simply kept following my curiosity.
One question led to another. One technique led to the next. Before long, I realized I wasn't just learning how to make jewelry. I was learning how to see differently.
Creating by hand has taught me patience. It has taught me humility. It has reminded me that beautiful things rarely appear all at once. They emerge gradually, through practice, persistence, and the willingness to keep learning.
Perhaps that's why I love craftsmanship so much.
It isn't really about making perfect objects.
It's about becoming the kind of person who never stops asking, "What can I learn next?"
